Understandably, the gameplay can feel a bit repetitive if it's continuously played. Depending on how well you can control the cat, each level can take several minutes to complete. Still, this is a minor annoyance and the gameplay is simple enough to be enjoyable despite this problem.Īt the top left of the screen, players will find a progress bar that indicates how large the cat has become and how much more they need to grow to end the level. The cat tends to go wherever it wants instead of wherever the player wants. One issue with the game is that the controls are a bit difficult to get used to. At the bottom left of the screen, players will find the virtual joystick that will control the cat. The game is presented in a top-down 2D format in the cat levels. Some of the animals play a bit differently than others. ![]() You can also play as a couple of other animals such as an octopus, shark, bee, and more. By the end of the game, your cat avatar has become a monstrous freak of nature. You'll also be able to eat inedible objects like knives, chairs, bottles, and more. This is taken to ridiculous extremes as you become capable of eating large animals and even humans. At first, you'll only be able to eat mice and dots, but as you continue eating, you'll grow larger and larger and you'll be able to eat other things. You initially play as a cat and your objective is to eat as many objects as possible. No matter how old Pac-man is, its legacy still lives on in contemporary games. There are even a few levels that pit you up against enemy grey goos. Some are more difficult versions of levels from the main game and some are totally new levels. ![]() Even after conquering all of the main levels, (and also destroying the time period) the game still isn't over!
